Cress Capital was founded in 2012 by Ryan Parkin to formalize his entrepreneurial real estate endeavors. Originally providing consulting, advisory and sourcing services to a respected roster of institutional organizations, Cress transitioned to principal investing in 2014. Since that time, Cress has acquired over 2 million square feet of industrial and office properties in the Western U.S. Cress principals have invested through several real estate cycles and have both acquired and developed property.

Cress principals have over 50 years of combined real estate investment experience combining an institutional pedigree at firms such as PCCP, Goldman Sachs, GIC and CBRE with an entrepreneurial mindset.

The rapid ebb and flow of the capital markets often ignores underlying real estate fundamentals and economic prospects creating highly attractive niche investment opportunities throughout market cycles. We are contrarians who focus on these overlooked and often mispriced opportunities.  We couple this macro philosophy with “bottoms up” local market knowledge to source, evaluate, capitalize and execute on deals with a compelling risk-reward profile. Cress prioritizes opportunities sourced through proprietary sources such as off-market principal-to-principal transactions, failed marketing efforts, unmarketed targeted properties and assets owned by capital markets participants with whom Cress has a relationship.
